Description: The principal biological evaluation tools used by Ohio EPA are the Index of Biotic integrity (IBI), the Modified Index of Well-Being (MIWB) and the Invertebrate Community Index (ICI). These three indices are based on species richness, trophic composition, diversity, presence of pollution-tolerant individuals or species, abundance of biomass, and the presence of diseased or abnormal organisms. The IBI and the MIWB apply to fish; the ICI applies to macroinvertebrates. attributes that contain index scores and sampling year and project: ALU: Aquatic Life Use DesignationFISH_YEAR: Year the fish data was collectedIBI_SCORE : Index of Biotic Integrity valueMIWB_SCORE : Modified Index of Well-BeingBUG_YEAR : year macroinvertebrates were collectedICI_SCORE : Invertebrate Community Index value BUG_NARR_SCORE : QHEI_SCORE: Qualitative Habitat Evaluation IndexATTAINMENT : PROJECT : project namehttps://epa.ohio.gov/divisions-and-offices/surface-water/reports-data/water-quality-standards-programhttps://epa.ohio.gov/divisions-and-offices/surface-water/reports-data/biological-criteria-for-the-protection-of-aquatic-life
